Our pastor is Rev. Jacob Maatman. Rev. Maatman is from Lynwood, Illinois. He studied math and philosophy at Trinity Christian College in Chicago, Illiniois, and graduated in 2014. Having begun to consider the ministry near the end of his time at college, he soon moved to the Grand Rapids, MI, area, taking up work at Vibration Research in Jenison, MI. Not long thereafter, in the fall of 2015, he enrolled in the Protestant Reformed Theological Seminary. While in seminary he completed a six-month internship at Hudsonville Protestant Reformed Church. Rev. Maatman graduated in June of 2019, accepted our call to serve as our pastor, and was ordained and installed in September 2019. |
